EXTERNAL LOAN OF
Books
Users belonging to the university community can borrow up to four books that can be taken home for a period of 15 days.

Room
The library has a large reading room on the second floor, where internal and external users can access books of their interest that were taken directly from the shelves organized in the collections area.
Reference
Service
Users can be guided and advised in the search and supply of bibliographic information sources of physical books and electronic resources.
Online resources
Access
Free access to electronic resources acquired by the University so that users can research, consult libraries around the world, and access databases and tools for research, teaching and learning.

Training and
Chronograms
Allows access to the schedule of training sessions on electronic resources (databases) that the Library has planned virtually for the current week. Additionally, it enables users to request training on specific electronic resources of interest.

EXTENSION PROJECTS
Literacy, Orality and Culture
Actions focused on promoting the communication of knowledge from the University through literacy, recreational and cultural activities aimed at children, youth and adults, seeking to strengthen written verbal language, communication skills, approach to ICT and recreational culture. The above, within the framework of extension projects for the Promotion of Reading and Writing and the Book and Culture Festival, among others.

Shop
Proud of our university, the UIS seal has been embodied in clothing, sports gear, luggage, desk and office supplies, among others, which you can acquire for yourself or as gifts/souvenirs. We have our sales point located in the Library building.
